History

The Advocates were one of the several Training Squads established by Cyclops & Emma Frost during reorganization of the Xavier Institute due to the increased number of the students. The Advocates had six students and were curated by Rogue.

The Advocates were only briefly shown once, observing the X-Men training in the Danger Room.

The Advocates were disbanded along with all the other Squads after the M-Day, because only 27 of 182 enrolled students retained their powers. None of the Advocates members were among these 27, they all lost their powers.

It is unknown if they all safely returned home, of if some or all of them died in the subsequent attacks on the Institute by the Purifiers.
