History
Agent Takagi is an agent for the Public Intelligence Security Agency, a Japanese government organisation tasked with bringing down the Kuzuryu.[1]. His first name is unknown.
After his co-worker, Tesshin Asano, brought Logan to Japan to help bring down the Kuzuryu, Agent Takagi joined Tesshin's team to spy on the house of Shingen Harada while Logan infiltrated the place.[1] Logan however was drugged with a poison and subsequently defeated in a fight with Shingen, after which his unconscious body was taken away by Shingen's men. As Tesshin followed them to help Logan, he ordered the others to remain at the house and continue to keep an eye on Shingen.[2] Takagi disagreed however and send Tsukino and Machida after Tesshin.[2]
After Tesshin was murdered, the rest of his team continued the fight against the Kuzuryu to avenge him. They also began to search for Logan, whom they believed to be the killer. When they learned about a shipment of synthetic drugs being deliverd to the harbor, which Hideki Kurohagi wanted to offer to Shingen as a dowry, they went to the harbor to try and arrest Hideki and his men.[3] Unbeknown to them, Logan and Yukio where also there, as was Logan's old enemy Omega Red.[3]
In the ensuing fight, Tsukino managed to secure a suitcase of the drugs, thus giving the Agency the prove they needed that Shingen was a criminal.[4] They obtaind a warrant and went to his house to arrest him, only to learn that Shingen had fled to Madripoor. Shortly afterwards, a call came in that autopsy on Tesshin's body proved Logan was not the killer. The agents thus realized Logan must be seeking revenge for Tesshin's murder.[5]
Takagi was not seen again after this.[5]
