History
Ajak was an Eternal created by the Celestials in the World Forge. Over the course of her existence she aided the birth of many Celestials by protecting the native population of the planet.
While on a mission to do the same on Earth Ajak was granted the role of Prime Eternal able to speak with Arishem. Because of this role she learned that every time that the Eternals carried out a Convergence on a separate planet, the birth of a Celestial, that their minds were wiped and they were place on a new planet without any information about what would happen to it in the future.
Staying true to her role, Ajak led the Eternals in their mission to eliminate the Deviants while also not interfering in strictly human affairs. She did this for thousands of years until the final Deviants, in Tenochtitlan, were eliminated. There she declared that the group was free to split up until it was time to return to their supposed home of Olympia although was really referencing the Convergence.
Around five hundred years later, after reflection on Thanos' delaying of the Convergence with wiped out half of all life as well as the return of that life by the Avengers, Ajak came to believe that the birth of Tiamut, the Celestial inside the Earth, needed to be stopped. She disclosed this information to Ikaris with whom she told about the convergence previously. Without revealing what his stance was Ikaris took Ajak to see the newly emerged Deviants in Alaska and then told her that the Convergence needed to go through as planned and threw her into the crowd of Deviants. She was eventually pinned down and killed by Kro who absorbed her powers. [1]Attributes
