History

Al-Shalizar was a Djinn who Mr. Lao attempted to obtain transformation magic from in the late 12th century. Al-Shalizar refused to give him anything and a short battle ensued which lead to the Al being mortally wounded by dragon fire. Before dying he tricked Mr. Lao into travelling into his lamp with him, and once he died, left Mr. Lao trapped for six centuries.
