Using dimensional research originated by his world's Reed Richards, Albert DeVoor teamed with his Earth-616 counterpart in order to provide a mode of tourism for Earth-A citizens who wanted to live out their dreams of being a super-hero. Working together, they devised a method whereby Earth-A citizens could travel to Earth-616 and arrive in bodies similar to their Earth-616 counterpart's (usually super-hero forms). Eventually learning of this, forces on the Earth-616 side led by Jennifer Walters put an end to the business, and sent the Earth-A counterparts back to their original reality.[1]
