History

Al Gore was a former vice president of the United States, after which he became an environmental activist and won the Nobel Peace Prize. During an emergency G8 summit held to discuss whether they should follow through with Doctor Octopus' plan to launch more satellites which would reportedly fix global warming. The Chameleon disguised himself as Al Gore who seemed to be on board with the idea but was interrupted by the arrival of Spider-Man who revealed the Chameleon's deception. After Chameleon's deception was revealed and the villain was captured, Al Gore was freed, and when told by Captain America that he found him exhausted, he replied that after his time as vice president, he would be amazed at how much he could take.
