History

Alchemax was a corrupt corporation based in Nueva York. It owned the Public Eye, Nueva York's police force.

Geneticist Miguel O'Hara was in charge of a program that gave people superpowers, meant to give Alchemax its own team of "heroes." He was drugged with Rapture by his boss in an attempt to control him. O'Hara tried to cure himself by enhancing his DNA with his own work. The process was sabotaged by a jealous subordinate, which led to Miguel's DNA being replaced with 50% spider DNA. Miguel received similar powers to that of Peter Parker and decided to become a true hero, becoming Alchemax's greatest foe: Spider-Man.
