Alchemax is a research company owned by Kingpin. It's unclear as to how Kingpin acquired the organization; but he did so in an attempt to use interdenominational technology to find a dimensional counterpart of his wife and son Vanessa & Richard Fisk (as his family died in a car accident). The research company was led primarily by Olivia Octavius (Miles Morales's counterpart of Doctor Octopus). Kingpin frequently allowed his payrolled supervillains, mobster henchmen, hitmen, and personal bodyguards within the company as security; effectively making them useful.[1]
Trivia
Alchemax would be located where the Catskill Mountain House Site is located. West of the Hudson River, and adjacent and virtually attached to North / South Lake Campground.
