History
Alchemax Building was the headquarters of Alchemax Corporation's Research & Development Department, directed by Vice President Tyler Stone.[5]
Alchemax Board of Directors' member Darryl King, better known as Fearmaster, had an office here.[6]
When Victor von Doom became President of the United States, he slew Alchemax C.E.O. Avatarr,[7] and made V.P. Tyler Stone his personal Corporate Minister, as well as the C.E.O. of Alchemax.[8] Then, Stone himself designated his biological son, Miguel O'Hara, to fill his previous role as Research & Development Director. However, Stone was later shot by his ex-lover Conchata O'Hara,[8] going in a comatose state, and was recovered at St. Teresa Hospital.[9]
Immediately after having regained consciousness, Tyler tried to regain control of Alchemax from Miguel, who had meanwhile decided to keep his position, leading Alchemax to better use its resourches. When Tyler arrived at his son's office, Miguel had doctors identifying him as mentally disable, and ordered security to take him outside the building, taking over his position as C.E.O. of Alchemax.[10]
From this moment, the Alchemax Building has become the Corporate Headquarters of Alchemax.[11] It was later destroyed by the Vulture,[2] and rebuilt after the great Phalanx flooding.[12]
