History
Alchemy Gun was invented by Curtis Carr who then started to use it to commit crimes as Chemistro. Carr was quickly defeated by Luke Cage and sent to prison.[1] While there, Carr was forced by Arch Morton to reveal how to create the Gun. Morton tried to recreate Alchemy Gun later on, but his version exploded in his hands.[2]
After Carr was released from the prison, he created a new version of the Alchemy Gun. It was stolen by Carr's brother Calvin. Unlike Curtis, Calvin had no qualms about using the Gun on living beings and became a more dangerous criminal.[3]
Curtis later was able to figure out how to reverse the effect of the Alchemy Gun.[4]Properties
Transmutation: Alchemy Gun can transmute any material into any other form of matter. For example, turn stone into glass or paper. However, the effect is not stable and the transformed material usually turns to dust after exposure to heat or after a certain amount of time.[1] The Gun can also change liquids into solid matter, for example, turn water into granite.[3] And it can affect living beings, even fully transforming human body into glass.[4]
