History
Alecto was the leader of King Kull's Red Slayers, a group of the finest warriors of Valusia. Alecto and a group of Slayers accompanied Kull and Brule on their journey to find the fabled temple of the Serpent-Men. Alecto was one of the few warriors to survive the journey.[1]
When H'nar, regent prince of Demascar, came to Kull for aid against their enemies of Rikos, Alecto was as many pleased by H'nar's praises of Valusia. Alecto was part of the Valusia to sail to Demascar. Arriving there, the Valusians were attacked by winged demons of Rikos. Not having been informed by H'nar of Rikos' use of black magic, Kull accepted to mount a single raid to avenge their fallen comrades. Growing suspicious of H'nar, Kull had Brule to spy on his wizard M'ku. Brule had Alecto keep watch as he climbed the wizard's tower. Brule was captured by M'ku, and H'nar stated to Kull that Brule had been taken by Rikos' demons. The next day, Alecto was aboard the Valusian fleet on the "raid" on Rikos, in fact a plot to sacrifice Valusians to power M'ku's spell to destroy Rikos. M'ku was killed by Brule and the spell propagated to Demascar as well. After H'nar was maimed by Kull, he quickly succumbed to his wounds, and was tossed in the harbor by Alecto on Kull's order.[2]Attributes

- Though usually depicted as part of the Red Slayers, in some occasion, it is unclear if Alecto is merely standing by the Black Legion, or erroneously considered as one of them.[3]
- In Kull the Conqueror #8, the Black Legionnaire Latos is called Alecto, despite being referred to as Latos in the same panel.
