Accolades
- Alex Ross earned a nomination for Eisner Award in 2023 in "Best Cover Artist" category for Black Panther (Vol. 8), Fantastic Four: Full Circle #1 (Marvel); Astro City: That Was Then... (Image). Alex Ross and Josh Johnson earned a nomination in "Best Coloring" category for Fantastic Four: Full Circle #1.[1]
- The nomination for "Best Cover Artist" listed "Fantastic Four", however, the Eisner Award is given for comics released in the previous year, and in 2022 Alex Ross hadn't worked on Fantastic Four series, only in 2023 he started working on Fantastic Four (Vol. 7), so most likely Fantastic Four: Full Circle #1 was meant instead. It was listed correctly in the nomination for "Best Coloring".
Trivia
- First Alex's work for Marvel was intended to be printed in the canceled Open Space Vol 1 5 back in 1990. The story was finally published in 1999's Wizard Presents Open Space Vol 1 0.
