Grigory Efimovich Rasputin (Earth-616) from X-Men Colossus Bloodline Vol 1 2 005

Grigory Rasputin was introduced to his parent, who were seeking help for their sickly son. Rasputin quickly gained their confidence by seemingly "curing" the Alexei of haemophilia. This action won him the passionate support of Alexandra.[1] In 1912, after a fall, Alexei began bleeding uncontrollably. The doctors could do nothing for him, but Rasputin, with a wave of his hands, stopped the flow of blood.[1]

Russian Revolution[]

Nicholas II abdicated and they were exiled to the Siberian city of Yekaterinburg. On July 17, 1918, with the anti-communist White Army closing in on the city, the former Tsar, his wife Tsarina Alexandra, and their five children were all executed by Bolshevik soldiers.[2]
