History

Alexei Shostakov was an incredible pilot in the Soviet Union, catching the notice of the KGB. The organization arranged a wedding between him and Natasha Romanov, the famed Black Widow. However, after furthering his devotion to his country, Alexei took on the title of Red Guardian, a direct counter to Captain America, and ended his marriage. A man devoted to country above all else, Red Guardian succeeds in any mission where the fate of Russia is on the line.
