History

Alexi was a theoretical physicist who taught at the Russian university where he met Natasha and fell in love with her, eventually marrying her. He was later drawn to the promises of Hydra but was brainwashed by them. Natasha found him years after working for A.I.M. in Canada and devised a way to free him and bring him back to his country where he could carry on his research and his pacifism.
