History

Aleytys Forrester met Scott Summers after he quit the X-Men and signed-on as member of the crew of her fishing trawler[1] after his long-time love Jean Grey died.[2] Lee helped Scott work through his grief. After an adventure in which Lee's father Jock Forrester was possessed by D'Spayre and committed suicide, Scott and the Man-Thing fought D'Spayre.[1]

Lee and Scott were shipwrecked in the Bermuda Triangle, where they found Magneto's Island M. Scott lost his visor and was powerless when they soon met Magneto, but he aided the X-Men in defeating Magneto.[3]

Lee fell in love with Scott. Scott returned to see her after spending months in space with the X-Men. Lee told Scott that his superhero life terrified her and that he would have to choose between her and the X-Men. They parted on good terms and Scott met Madelyne Pryor, a pilot who looked identical to Jean.[4] Scott did not return to Lee and soon married Madelyne.[5]

The alien Warlock crashed through Magneto's Asteroid M, sending it plummeting to Earth.[6] Magneto landed in the ocean, where he was saved from a shark attack by Lee. Lee took Magneto to his old base in the Bermuda Triangle and nursed him back to health, despite his mutant-supremacist ideology. The two became lovers, but on the following day, Lee was reminded that Magneto was a supervillain and left him.[7]

Lee was impersonated by Mystique when Freedom Force was apprehending Magneto. The X-Men found Lee, but Magneto surrendered to Freedom Force to stand trial.[8]

Lee met Cable, whom she seemed to like too, but nothing further developed between them.[9]

Lee Forrester was reunited with Cable and the X-Men when her ship was trapped by a hurricane.[10]

Scorpius[]

Lee captained an expedition to an alternate dimension, led by George Stanislaus, that was stranded when their ship ran aground. After the Future Foundation found a distress call from Lee and James Scully, they learned that they were trapped in the dimension—where time moved faster than in the mainstream reality—and enlisted the X-Men and Magneto to rescue them. After arriving, the heroes learned that Lee had allied with a local tribe. The Scorpius attacked and subjugated the locals, and planned to invade the mainstream reality; another tribe, the Kaddak, was a possible ally and Lee attempted to negotiate a treaty. Lee was reunited with Scott, which his new girlfriend Emma Frost disliked, and with the help of the heroes Lee and Scully defeated the Scorpius. After a power source was found to return them to the mainstream reality, Lee and Scully—who had fallen in love—decided to stay and safeguard the power source.[11]
