History
20th Century[]
Following World War II, Algiers became the distribution point for supplies being shipped from the United States that were bound for Europe to rebuild the continent. In 1946, American officials became aware that someone was stealing the supplies. Captain America and Bucky were dispatched to Algiers to investigate. They uncovered a scheme by American culture obsessed local Miguel Juan Gonzales Lopez-Iruli, who was the ringleader of the theft ring, and shut it down.[1]
