History

Early years

Alison Blaire has been many things: a pop-star, an X-Man, an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., and an agent of another group or agency.

Presidential Elections

Dazzler was approached by the X-Men Beast, Xorn (Jean Grey), and Rogue, who asked her to run for the Presidency of the United States of America.

Fatal blast

Winning the election, she started her victory speech in front of the White House, but was blasted to death while the sky was invaded by a horde of demons, killing several X-Men and civilians.

Legacy

Beast stayed next to her corpse even before the end of the brawl, and her death was seemingly the trigger for him to stop working with the X-Men and set up his own Brotherhood.
