History
The Almond was the primary ship used by the Guardians of the Galaxy after their sanction by the Galactic Council. It succeeded the Bowie.[1] A portion of the Guardians used it to keep watch of Ego the Living Planet after it became encased in a black shell. When he hatched possessed by Dormammu,[2] he launched an invasion of Mindless Ones, and the Almond was destroyed in the process.[3]
