History

Amadeus Cho (Earth-30356) from Planet Hulk Worldbreaker Vol 1 4 002

Cho when he was younger

Amadeus Cho's history is presumably similar to his Earth-616 counterpart's. He became an ally of the Hulk when he returned to Earth from Sakaar for revenge.[4]

Later, Cho took the Hulk's powers, believing that he could know to use them. After an unknown period of time, he traveled to Sakaar along with She-Hulk to help the Hulk bring peace to the planet. Over the next 1,000 years, Cho, Hulk, and She-Hulk tried to maintain peace on Sakaar. 100 years prior, Cho and his allies fought the Fifth Imperium to protect the last remaining Shadow Elders. In desperation, the Fifth Imperium bombed their own troops to stop the Hulks, killing 10,000 soldiers in the process. This and other tragedies that plagued Sakaar that killed countless lives due to the Hulks' efforts caused Cho to go into hiding. In an effort to help the people of Sakaar, he turned some of them into gamma mutates as well as fathered children, creating a race of gamma mutates called the Haarg. He also helped create Sky City, a floating city to act as a refuge for Sakaarans.[1]

Cho lived out many years as a scavenger and maker of toys until he encountered Tala, a Haarg and his own granddaughter. She told him that her brother Balo and other Haarg children had been captured by the Grand Priestess Venkiera. Cho agreed to help Tala rescue Balo and the other children, but they were attacked by Venkiera's Sentinels that used gamma inhibitors. Cho managed to save himself and Tala by stomping the ground, dislodging a piece of land that floated them to safety on lava.[3]

Cho and Tala then went to see Bruce Banner to ask for his help, but Banner refused, believing that his help would just cause more problems.[2] So, with Korg's help, Cho and Tala got Jen Walters' help. While Jen and Korg attacked Venkiera's hideout, Cho and Tala freed Venkiera's prisoners. However, Venkiera had been setting up a trap, and the children were bait. Venkiera drained Walters of her gamma energy, intending to use it to power a doomsday weapon to eliminate the Haarg from Sakaar by destroying it.[1]

With help from Korg, Cho rescued She-Hulk. He and his allies then helped evacuate civilians to Sky City where he used his own gamma energy to help the city float temporarily. After Sky City landed where Banner lived, Cho and Tala convinced Banner to help him stop Sakaar from being destroyed.[4]

Using his intelligence, Cho located Venkiera's doomsday machine, and Banner destroyed it. However, the machine's true function was to stop the spinning of Sakaar's molten core, leaving the planet vulnerable to cosmic rays that the core's magnetic field fended off as part of Venkiera's insane plan to cleanse Sakaar by killing everyone, including herself. Cho, Tala, and Walters fended off the cosmic rays long enough for Banner to jump-start the core's spin by striking it. With Sakaar saved, everyone began making peace.[5]
