History
Amanda was born in the worst prison in all of Latveria and her mother died giving birth to her.[1] Years later Commander Doom was sent by the United States Government to acquire the help of the Hulk in order to stop Bruce Banner.[2]
Notes
- She has stated that she has no relation to Victor von Doom, though Bruce Banner claimed to note some resemblance.[2] The fact that her pregnant mother was imprisoned in Latveria implies that the relation to Doom could still be a thing (and even the reason to her mother's imprisonment). In Incredible Hulk (Vol. 4) #15, she refused to see her file from a Doombot. It was implied that the file would confirm her relation to Doom, but it could also have been a trick in order to stop Amanda from helping the Hulk.
