Peter tells Aunt May that maybe he will move. He feels guilty for leaving her alone, but she is delighted. Later as Spider-Man goes to ask Curt Connors if he has located Freak's chrysalis, but the answer is negative. Menace later attacks a Hollister rally that Peter is photographing and confronts the criminal as Spider-Man, but the latter manages to escape and the hero does not pursue him because Connors has located Freak in Brooklyn. When Spider-Man arrives, Freak has already emerged from the chrysalis, but Spidey manages to beat him with a trap and block his evolution.
