Synopsis for "Live Another Day"

After the war with the Inheritors, Kaine is reborn even if without the Other, but the Master Weaver cannot send him to his earth, because he has begun to suffer from cellular degeneration again, and Karn has noticed that in various worlds the clones that degenerate have infected people and kicked off a zombie apocalypse. Since he is already infected Kaine decides to go to these worlds, and look for patient zero so that he can stop the spread of the Carrion virus. Karn proposes to ask the Web-Warriors for help, but Kaine refuses for fear of infecting them, and the two decide not to reveal his presence. Spider-Gwen, however, discovers it anyway and while continuing to keep the secret, decides to help them. In one world the two manage to collect data thanks to which they discover that Kaine is not contagious. Karn informs them that the cycle leading to the zombie apocalypse has begun again on Kaine's world, and they kidnap Earth-616's Gwen so Spider-Gwen can replace her by infiltrating the New U. Kaine has also found out he is terminally ill, but decides not to tell Gwen to focus only on saving the world and Karn agrees to keep silence.
