Synopsis for "True Companions: Part Two"

Gog recalls how he was given as a pet to an alien prince and became his inseparable playmate.

Gog (Tsiln) (Earth-616) from Amazing Spider-Man Vol 5 42 004

Gog's life as a pet.

However, the planet was attacked and Gog placed on an escape pod other than his master's. The spacecraft was hit and Gog crashed to Earth where he was found by Kraven who takes care of him, until his defeat at the hands of Spider-Man. Eventually after being used by Octopus as a member of the Sinister Six, and being defeated again by Spider-Man, Gog is sent home by Reed Ridchars at Spidey's request. Unfortunately, the planet is still at war and Gog returns only to see his master die. After finding his master's mother, she sends him back to Earth, giving him the fragments of the Lifeline Tablet, telling him to hide them and keep one with him and protect it; for this he is fighting Boomerang and Spider-Man.
