The Living Brain sends a message to Peter; "Peter Parker is not Spider-Man" and four more words. Connors and Norman summon Peter to tell him about it and when Peter says the four words a secret compartment with Green Goblin gear opens in Norman's office. Norman puts on the costume and attacks him using a gas that takes away his powers, explaining how the Green Goblin came back inside him. Peter tricks him into going to his lab where he uses a gas to take away his powers, so the two fight on equal terms. Meanwhile, the Living Brain creates a new body and the Green Goblin reveals that he used the Winkler Device on Peter to transform him into the new body, while Kraven recovers the spear.
