Synopsis for "Third Genesis"
The Generation X mutants settle in at the X Academy in western Massachusetts headed by Sean “Banshee” Cassidy and Emma “White Queen” Frost. X Academy is located at the site of the former Hellions School also headed by Emma. Outside the building is a “Danger Grotto” natural area where the students train. Sean is upset that Emma went against his wishes by letting them spar so soon. Ambitious Paige “Husk” Guthrie jogs as X-Men veteran Jubilee mocks her. Monet “M” St. Croix has a superior attitude and comes from a privileged Monaco family. St. Louis native Everett “Synch” Thomas explores the grounds with Los Angeles street smart Angelo “Skin” Espinosa.
Greeting arriving student Jonothon “Chamber” Starsmore at the Boston airport, the team is attacked by vampiric super-villain Emplate. Emplate is accompanied by his henchman chauffeur “D.O.A.” Monet seems to have some familiarity with Emplate. Emplate is driven back by Generation X and retreats.
Returning to the X Academy, they see Jubilee’s teleporter friend Gateway sitting in the grounds. Jubilee discovers a nearby unconscious red-skinned mutant (Penance) apparently teleported by Gateway. Sean carries Penance inside to the infirmary.
