Born of the Gorgon Medusa's brow, the Amphisbaena was a giant, two headed snake that attacked and ate villagers in ancient Greece. It was finally defeated in battle by a collation of Olympians including Hercules, Hermes, Artemis, Poseidon, and Zeus.[1]
