Pam'a holding the amulet
The Amulet of Pam'a was a token given to the Kree soldier Mari-Ell by Empress Pam'a herself for a mission to assimilate with Earth's inhabitants. It contained a cloaking device that concealed Mari-Ell's true nature. Mari-Ell used the amulet and kept it after abandoning her mission and settling down on Earth.[1]
After being fatally injured by a Kree Kleaner sent to kill her for her desertion, Mari-Ell asked her daughter Captain Marvel to be taken to the Moon, where she handed over the Amulet of Pam'a before being returned to Earth and dying of her injuries. Carol kept the token as a memento of her mother.[1]
