Amytis was Narim-Bey's hot-blooded paramour, whom Conan greeted before leaving the capital for Wan Tengri.[1]
When the Cimmerian returned to the city, she offered him the luxury of her palace and, with Narim-Bey gone for a fortnight, engaged him in a romantic affair.[2]
After the party held in his honor for rescuing the Princess Yolinda, Amytis visited the haunted Cimmerian and told him that Lilitu, a were-woman, had marked Conan as her own and was behind the supernatural attacks. The only one who could lift the curse was the high priest Gimil-Ishbi, who was dwelling in the Mound of the Moon west of the city. As Conan left for the Mound of the Moon, she revealed to her master that she'd rather see Conan dead, then risk his leaving her one day.[3]
