Tony Stark stepped on a hidden landmine and injured his heart here. Afterwards, Professor Yinsen aided Tony in creating his first Iron Man suit in order to escape and defeat their captor, Wong-Chu.[1]
Years later, An Thoc was destroyed by the Americans. [2]
