History

Ana was one of Black Widow's neighbors in Little Ukraine. Her husband used to beat her periodically, but Ana remained living with him even though Natasha herself recommended her to leave numerous times.

One day, Natasha found Ana sitting in the entrance of her house with a black eye, and decided to attack Ana's husband and threaten to leave him paralyzed if he didn't stop hitting Ana.
