History

A.U.T.O.F.A.C. was a computer a giant computer created to calculate data for S.H.I.E.L.D.. While the A.U.T.O.F.A.C. computer works out the true identity of the Supreme Hydra, Nick Fury plans to have Agent Bronson transport Laura Brown to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s West coast HQ. Just in time as moments later, he's attacked by The Dreadnought, a deadly 8ft tall Hydra killer robot. Laura suspects Bronson may be the Supreme Hydra himself, and her suspicions are confirmed by A.U.T.O.F.A.C., but before she can pass on the info, Bronson overpowers her. Fury just barely manages to beat The Dreadnought, but finds Laura is missing and A.U.T.O.F.A.C. names her as the Supreme Hydra.

A.U.T.O.F.A.C. was soon after destroyed by a bomb planted by a HYDRA agent (the same who planted false data to implicate Laura) in a failed attempt to assassinate Fury.
