History

Anath was the Annunaki war goddess, and married the storm god Ba'al.

When Ba'al, on his quests to uncover the secrets of life and death, went to Irkalla and was tricked by Mot into eating at the table of the dead, entrapping him in the afterlife, Anath defeated Mot to ensure her husband's resurrection.

She and Ba'al are currently separated/estranged.
