History

Anathi was a reporter from the Kingdom of Wakanda with a show that discussed Battleworld's current events. Anathi analyzed the mystery surrounding the Maestro's assassination in a segment of her show called The Maestro Files.[2][3]

After a year of investigating the Maestro's death, Anathi returned to the Maestro's throne room at the whim of an anonymous tip. The eight Battleworld Barons who she encountered there confirmed her suspicions that they had all been involved in the Maestro's demise. The Ancient One elaborated by using his Time Stone to transport Anathi and himself to the Maestro's death, showing her that their multiversal counterparts aided them.[1] The two were spotted by Glykhan, who abducted Anathi to the Chronoserpent's asteroid for questioning. Fortunately, Anathi recieved the Infinity Claw from an alternate T'Challa and exhausted its power to free herself from the Chronoserpent, causing her arm to fuse with the gauntlet's remnants. As a battle waged between the Chronoserpent and Galactus, Anathi was among those who evacuated from Battleworld to the Battlerealm.[4]

  • Despite having fused to her, the Infinity Claw is not visible on Anathi's arm after she evacuated from Battleworld.[4] This article assumes its absence was unintentional.
