History

Andrew Kale was a descendant of the Kale family, guardians of the Tome of Zhered-Na. As only Kale could open the Tome, Marduk Kurios tricked Andrew to do it. In result the demon Hellphyr was freed from the book and possessed Andrew. Under Hellphyr's control Andrew killed multiple mystics, including Illusion, but he wasn't aware of it until he accidently partially transformed and Marduk then revealed the truth to him. In meanwhile, to stop Hellphyr, Doctor Strange gathered Andrew's sister, Jennifer Kale, Topaz and Satana. Jennifer wanted to free her brother, but he and Hellphyr became inseparable, so to stop the demon from killing all the mages in the world the three were forced to kill him and Andrew.
