History

Ann Raymond is the wife of Toro. When Toro died, she later became involved in a plot with enemies of Toro's allies, the Invaders. After she was freed, she became very close with Toro's mentor and best friend, Jim Hammond, the original Human Torch. Hammond fakes his death, and Ann Raymond appeared to travel with Jim as his companion.

Toro has more recently been revived due to a disruption to the Earth-616 time stream, but the two of them have not reconciled.

Ann Raymond was Katie Power's elementary school teacher.
