History
Annihilus shares the same history as his Earth-616 counterpart and his role in the Annihilation War. History diverged from Earth-616, at the point in which Galactus was killed. He was thus unable to wipe out the Annihilation Wave. This left Annihilus unimpeded for universal genocide. The Annihilation Wave caused the devastation of much of several known intergalactic civilization, among the casualties were the Kree and Skrull empires. The Wave eventually arrived to Earth. Annihilus' onslaught ended when he was tricked in gathering his forces to Earth's moon, where Earth's heroes detonated the Terminus device, which was provide by Uatu the Watcher, that sends the Wave into a black hole.[1] What became of Annihilus is unrevealed.
