History
Doctor Druid's history is presumably the same as his Earth-616 counterpart's up to the point to where Spider-Man first bonded to the Venom symbiote.
Druid, the Avengers, and X-Factor came to help when the Baxter Building was taken over by the Venom symbiote and engulfed in symbiote biomass. Druid watched as Spider-Man, the Human Torch, and Mary Jane Watson entered the Baxter Building to take it back from the symbiote. When Spider-Man tossed a symbiote possessed-Thing outside, Druid, the Avengers, and X-Factor confronted him. Shortly after, the Venom symbiote unleashed a swarm of symbiotes upon New York City,[1] resulting in Druid, the Avengers, and X-Factor being possessed by symbiotes and put under the symbiote's control.
Druid and the other heroes aided the symbiote in chasing down Torch and Mary Jane. The Invisible Woman intervened and struck the symbiote and the possessed heroes with a force field, allowing Torch and Mary Jane to escape. Druid and the other heroes were later freed from the symbiote's control when Torch killed the symbiote with his flames.[2]
