History
During the early stages of the galactic war called Operation: Galactic Storm, Iron Man and Goliath left the Avengers with the intention of striking back to the Kree Empire and crippling their war-making capabilities, while the other Avengers were convinced that to be able to make peace between the various factions. On the other hand, the Kree Empire struck the Earth without thinking twice, destroying it and killing all its inhabitants apart from the Avengers who were not on the planet.
Iron Man, who knew he didn't have long to live as he was kept alive by his armor, sacrificed himself by killing all members of the Accuser Corps, including Ronan, by detonating his armor thus giving Goliath time to free Captain America who had been captured and about to be executed by the Kree.[1]Attributes
