History
Resident of the Boarding House of Mystery, who lived in Room 317. He appeared to writing thousands of letters and putting aerolized Anthrax within them. At breakfast he told Cain he was writing a letter to his congressman.[1]
Notes
- His room had the sign "A.M.T." on it, for "Anthrax Mystery Theater" ("a drama in four acts").
Trivia
- Anthrax is a parody of the DC character Sandman (aka Wesley Dodds). In turn, Anthrax Mystery Theater is a parodic reference to the DC/Vertigo title Sandman Mystery Theater, where stories were told in four-issue arcs (and each chapter referred to as an "Act" on the cover).
- Anthrax's comment about writing a letter to his Congressman may also be a reference to the 2001 anthrax attacks.
