Amazing Spider-Man Presents Anti-Venom - New Ways To Live Vol 1 1 Textless
When Eddie Brock separated from the Venom symbiote, remnants of the symbiote remained inside his body. Quickly succumbing to his cancer, Brock became a volunteer at the F.E.A.S.T. Center, founded by "Martin Lee", who gave him the job. Lee's healing touch caused Brock's cancer cells to disappear. In addition, he allowed the remnants of the Venom symbiote to fuse with his white blood cells, resulting in the emergence of a new color-reversed symbiote that was corrosive to the Venom symbiote.

The symbiote nicknamed Anti-Venom met its end when Eddie Brock used it to produce a cure for the virus that mutated people into humanoid spiders during the events of Spider-Island. Although despite his death, his elements were used to create a serum that was a cure for the Venom symbiote's toxic shock syndrome although this only created another new Anti-Venom symbiote that was bonded to Flash Thompson.
