History

Under the control of Walker Sloan, Anti-Venom's host, Eddie Brock, attacked Spider-Man and drained him of his powers. He nearly killed him, before being interrupted by the Spider-Man of the year 2099, who had appeared to save Peter. Spider-Man 2099 quickly freed Anti-Venom of Sloan's control, prompting Anti-Venom to attack Sloan. He was inadvertently merged with Sloan and Otto Octavius when all three of them fell into Sloan's time portal, forming Atrocity.
