Antonio Fernández was a 16-year-old student from Barcelona. He possessed an X-Gene which hadn't manifested yet. Having stolen Mister Sinister's global genetic database, Soteira tracked down Antonio and other nine latent mutants from all over the world. Soteria killed these mutants, and delivered their corpses to the doorstep of the Xavier Institute for Mutant Education and Outreach as a warning to prevent the X-Men from looking further into Wolverine's resurrection and its connections with Soteira.[1]
