I just thought maybe if you saw me all drunk, throwin' a tantrum, it would win you back!

Armadillo[source]

History

Eight years ago, Armadillo and his wife became divorced.[1]

Armadillo frequently visited the Bar with No Name and was friends with Poundcakes, Melter, Angar, and Tenpin. One day M.O.D.O.K. walked into the Bar with No Name after being rejected from the Soho Lair, Armadillo approached him, excited to meet him. After getting familiar with the team, M.O.D.O.K. proposed a heist to the five which would result in each member getting a substantial amount of money. Getting Tenpin's Pins from a pawn shop, Armadillo mistook a wedding ring for sale for his ex-wife's non-existent wedding ring, tunnelling to her house to confront her.[1]

As the rest of the team came to the house, driving the Super Adaptoid as their car, Armadillo got in a fight with the Mandrill, his ex-wife's new husband. This fight was broken up by M.O.D.O.K. who directed Armadillo back to the heist, getting payback by throwing toilet paper around his ex-wife's house. Upon returning to the heist the personal problems of other crew came up; such as Angar's anxieties over obsolescence and Poundcakes' experience with anti-mutant prejudice. Eventually, M.O.D.O.K. accidentally revealed that there was no money in this plan and he merely planned to steal Captain America's shield so he could be accepted into the Soho lair, a fact which offended the crew and caused them to abandon him. The crew retreated to Night Loaf, an eatery the crew were regular patrons of. There, M.O.D.O.K. eventually arrived, buying the crew dinner and apologising to them. While initially resistant, the crew eventually forgave M.O.D.O.K., together they decided to revive the plan to steal Captain America's shield but instead hang it in the Bar with No Name. Taking the bus to Avengers Tower, the entire team fell asleep on the way there, waking up they decided the night was worth the fun and bonding experience regardless. As they looked on at the sun, Melter passed away due to health problems.[1]

Armadillo attended Melter's funeral and along with the other surviving members of M.O.D.O.K.'s Six. They disposed of Melter's body in the traditional Supervillain fashion by throwing his coffin into the air and vaporising it.[2]

As part of a ploy to gain Iron Man's attention, M.O.D.O.K. organised an attack on Avengers Tower with Poundcakes, Angar, Tenpin, and Armadillo.[3]

Armadillo was one of the many people M.O.D.O.K. gathered to attend Lou's Bar Mitzvah reception. Armadillo made poor attempts to entertain the two Lous before the Anomaly crashed the reception. Armadillo was one of the guests to try and fight him before the Anomaly froze him in time.[4]
