The Aphaki were a people originally from Shem, possibly from Aphaka, and who migrated southwestward to establish the city of Tombalku, in the Southern of Kush.[3]
By the Age of Conan, circa 10,000 BC, the Aphaki were the half-Shemite caste of Tombalku,[2] dominant yet minoritary brown-skinned in a city held by its black people. The city was ruled by two kings, one brown and the other black.[1]
Notes
- The Aphaki were created in "Drums of Tombalku",[3] an unfinished story by Robert E. Howard, adapted in Savage Sword of Conan #21, written by Roy Thomas and drawn by John Buscema and Sonny Trinidad.[1]
