Oh, Peter. You're so weird.

Aradia[source]

History

Aradia was an inhabitant of the otherdimensional planet of Morinus. Both she and her husband Mors were unaffiliated with the twelve houses of their planet, and instead operated as nomadic mercenaries. When Star-Lord sacrificed himself to detonate a bomb to exile the rogue Olympians from Earthspace, he was marooned to Morinus. Aradia and Mors found him and nursed him back to health.

Star-Lord joined the couple's adventures and grew closer to both of them. A year into this new life, Aradia and Mors invited him to join their relationship polyamorously, but he declined since he hadn't given up on the possibility of returning to his home dimension and to his girlfriend Gamora. Eleven years later, Peter decided to let go of his past life and embraced Morinus as his new home. He took up Aradia and Mors on their offer and they welcomed him into their relationship with a ceremony in a temple named the Gateway. Aradia would also become pregnant with Peter's son, who they named Rocky.

A hundred and forty-three years after Star-Lord's arrival, the Olympians managed to escape from their imprisonment since their power had been locked inside Peter's Element Gun, and every use of it drew them closer to their freedom. Peter, Aradia and Mors spent the following year running away from the Olympians, a time during which Aradia gave birth to Rocky. Realizing that Morinus would never be safe as long as he stayed in it since the Olympians were after him, Peter used the sacred pool in the Gateway to return to his home dimension and lure the Olympians away from Mornius. Accompanying Peter to the Gateway, Aradia bid him farewell, requesting him only that he didn't forget about the family he was leaving behind.[1]

Aradia is very friendly and welcoming; after awakening from his twelve-day coma, Peter noted that she and Mors had left his weapon with him to indicate that they were not hostile. They eagerly welcomed Peter both into their nomadic way of life, and into their relationship, after only a year of knowing him. They also described themselves as helping others when they could, indicating a heroic nature. Aradia is also very protective of her family, making sure that Mors and Rocky were both safe before helping Peter escape into the Gateway back to his world.[1]
