History

At some point, Bryce met Ned Leeds in Europe. After the deaths of his parents, Bryce took control of their industrial research company, Bryceco. It soon fell behind its competitors, due its lack of innovation. Accompanied by his butler Victor, Bryce attended the grand opening of the Macro Science Museum. While mingling, he met Daily Bugle reporter and Leeds' widow Betty Brant. Later, Bryce watched the unveiling of the F.A.C.A.D.E. suit.[1]

Bryce dispatched Victor to summon Betty Brant for an interview, but when Victor took her to Bryce's waiting limo, he was mysteriously absent.[2] Bryce surprised Betty with a candlelit dinner in his mansion, during which she pressed him for information on his company's interest in the FACADE armor.[3] Bryce and Victor attended Bannon's funeral, for Betty's benefit, according to Bryce. Later, Bryce, Victor, Cole Cooper, and John Jameson lingered at the gravesite.[4]
