History
Park was an Iron Man Armor technician working for Stark Enterprises; he knew Jim Rhodes from having worked at the company together with him.[1]
When Rhodes was working for the NPO Worldwatch (and revealed his identity as the armored superhero War Machine to the NPO), he needed an expert to repair his armor and called in Archie Park (though he was not Rhodes's first choice),[2] who accepted the position and, for the first day, donned a tie (still no jacket, and the cap stayed). He met Sheva Joseph and Ranald Jeffries.[1] He was soon getting along well enough with his co-workers to attend corporate social events, such as Joseph's birthday (he presented a customized War Machine figure to her).[3] When Rhodes went to investigate the San Revilla civil war, Archie provided him with a comms/surveillance pod to monitor radio activity there; Rhodes also used it to develop photographies.[4]Personality
Park used to work wearing a casual shirt and baseball cap;[2] even when he was in a suit, he would undo the top button of his shirt and lower his tie.[3]
