The Archon was a leader among the Germanic Volk cult.

History

When the Volk sought the power of seven godkilling weapons, Archon led them to a temple in the village of K'Fari in West Africa where a statue commemorated the god of fear Magba's defeat of the matron goddess of Wakanda, Bast. Taking Magba's Spear for himself, Archon sacrificed his fellow Volk, fueling the spear with their blood. He was thwarted, however, when T'Challa arrived, and reversed the outcome of the original battle by defeating him with Bast's Sword. The Archon was taken into Wakandan custody, but insisted the Volk were still a threat without him.
