History

Hesperides were Nymphs and the daughters of Atlas and Hesperis. At some point they were tasked with guarding the Hera's Golden Apples. As one of Hercules' Twelve Labors he was to retrieve these Golden apples and so he asked Atlas to retrieve them for him. Atlas visited the Hesperides who saw their father stealing the apples.
